We admit the news might be a bit old by now, but we are Spaghetty Western and you should have learned to get to know us: we tell a story only if and when we want to and, above all, only when we find it interesting.
So Spaghetty got on Lucano's tram and toured the city with them. For anyone born in Milan, the tram has always represented the deepest connection to the city, that piece of history moving between its walls; and Lucano, a brand from Basilicata, managed to take Milanese tradition into its own hands and make it its own during the most important week of the bar industry.

Yes, the week in which the 50 Best Bars landed in Milan for the first time—a piece of news we’ve read everywhere by now. For a whole week, everyone wrote the exact same sentences just tweaking the punctuation and, allow us to be provocative, that’s what we do best.
Finally, an initiative that doesn't just speak to bartenders, but also speaks to consumers—yes, the ones who help us keep the registers ringing—making them the main characters in this journey through the fashion capital (no offense to our Roman friends). An initiative that isn't just about exclusive guest shifts with passwords at the door reserved strictly for industry insiders, but an event that presents the world of the bar industry to consumers.

While everyone was scrambling to get a ticket to get into the Palazzo del Ghiaccio for The 50 Best Bars 2026, we loved the idea of a company using the most iconic Milanese vehicle ever and making it accessible to the public. And some of you might say it’s not the first time this has happened: that’s true, but it doesn’t mean something that’s happened before can’t be done again.
Departure and arrival from Piazza Castello 2, with 27 of the finest Italian and international bartenders on board: Milan's local hosts took turns (from 1930 to Dry, from Sogni to Mandarin Garden, all the way to Ronin and The Doping Club), joined by guests arriving from Rome's Wagon Bar at the Orient Express, Florence's Gucci Giardino, Melfi, Bologna, Monza, Montalcino, and even the AaBbCc team from New Delhi. An experience that spoke about the brand (because, naturally, the tram was fully branded), but one that brought the brand to life through an out-of-the-ordinary moment.

And while everyone else was swapping opinions and business cards at hundreds of guest shifts scattered across the city, someone was enjoying Milan through the window of a tram. Are we late in telling the story? Maybe, or perhaps we just chose the best moment.
