Codified by Plato in The Republic (and no, this time we don’t expect you to have read that either) and central to classical philosophy, the Cardinal Virtues represent the moral pillars upon which human action is built. Obviously, we don’t expect you to know them, but we invite you to try: it might help everyone, especially these days. And now, the rightful question: why the f***k should we care? Perhaps you’d care more if these virtues were etched into skin. Tattoos are cool, right? So let’s connect the dots: Edoardo Tabacchi, aka Sir Edward. One of those tattoo artists with an infinite waiting list, who possesses one unforgivable flaw: he is damn good. This year, GINARTE has done something truly cool, merging their world with that of art and philosophy through the mark of Sir Edward. The illustrations are printed directly onto the glass using an inkjet technology that mimics the effect of a tattoo on skin: permanent, identity-driven, visceral.

THE MOSAIC OF VIRTUES ACCORDING TO SPAGHETTY WESTERN

Obviously, we wouldn’t be Spaghetty if we didn’t play with words, facts, and everything happening in this world (of course, we leave the truly "important" things to those who actually know what they’re doing). We decided to play with Plato (we apologize in advance) and revisited the four virtues through the stories of those who are part of our wild journey:

FORTITUDE (Andreia): Alessia Bellafante – Women Who Run with the WolvesBurnout, rage, strength. Alessia transforms crisis into freedom, reclaiming the right to be "unpolished" beyond the machismo of uniforms. It is the virtue of those who embrace their wild nature while resisting social pressures.

PRUDENCE (Phronesis): Andrea Fofi – Roots and DisenchantmentDisenchantment as a weapon. Fofi teaches us not to bite the hook of novelty for novelty's sake. It is the wisdom of one who protects the project from marketing illusions, anchoring it in historical and cultural truth.

TEMPERANCE (Sophrosyne): Diego Rossi – The Diego Rossi ManifestoA return to the essential, to the "fifth quarter," to the truth of raw material without frills. Rossi proves that true power isn't about adding, but about stripping away the superfluous to let the substance shine. The moderation of the ego.

JUSTICE (Dikaiosyne): Danil Nevsky – The DeceptionUnmasking the hypocrisy of the bar industry. Danil attacks commercial loops and the fake myth of "family" used to mask exploitation. Restoring balance through truth: rewarding hard work instead of smoke and mirrors.

MILAN, THE HEAT, AND THE BEAUTY

The official launch took place poolside, in that setting where Ceresio 7 and the style of Abi have become a certainty. On a sweltering evening, the kind only Milan can offer when it decides not to let you breathe. We can say it (as if we ever asked for permission): they have created a piece of art. In a world we often hate for being too glossy and fake, Ginarte and Sir Edward have given us all a bit of history and beauty.
